Sea Cave

Updated: May 17, 2023

Sunny Jim's Sea Cave: it was said to have been built in the prohibition era for bootlegging.

Making your way to a quaint gift shop found on a little corner in la Jolla, California, you are met with the entrance to this secret hideaway.

Making your way down the 145 steps you descend to a cave leading to the Pacific Ocean. The only word I can use to describe this was, astonishing. I arrived at the perfect time to experience the crashing of the waves and the beauty of looking out into the distance. If you are ever in San Diego this is a must-stop an experience you won’t forget.
